Fraternal Excellence Awards

At the 2025 Fraternal Excellence Awards, Alpha Xi Delta’s Gamma Eta Chapter was honored with several distinctions that celebrate the hard work, dedication, and impact of our sisters throughout 2024. These awards, presented by Georgia Tech’s Collegiate Panhellenic Council, recognize both chapter-wide excellence and individual leadership within the Panhellenic community.

Our chapter received the prestigious Chapter of Excellence award, which is given to the Panhellenic organization that demonstrates the best overall performance. This recognition reflects our chapter’s well-rounded success across academics, leadership, community engagement, DEI efforts, and sustainability. Our sisters have continuously prioritized these values through intentional programming, campus involvement, and a strong commitment to upholding the ideals of Alpha Xi Delta and GT Panhellenic.

We were also awarded the Academic Achievement Award, recognizing our chapter’s excellence in scholarship and academic programming. In 2024, our sisters consistently supported one another in their academic goals, resulting in a high percentage of members on the Dean’s List and impressive chapter-wide GPA performance (3.63). Through study hours, mentoring, and professional development events, we fostered a culture that values learning and academic success.

We also received the Leadership and Member Development Award, which honors the chapter that best fosters leadership and career development. Throughout 2024, our chapter provided enriching workshops, encouraged involvement in campus organizations, and empowered sisters to step into leadership roles in and out of Alpha Xi Delta. Our commitment to building confident, capable women is reflected in this award and in the continued success of our members beyond the chapter.

Individually, Jilli Connolly was recognized with the Outstanding Executive Member Award for her leadership skills and service on our Executive Committee as the Panhellenic Delegate. Jilli’s dedication to supporting our sisterhood and driving positive change within the chapter exemplifies what it means to be an outstanding leader.

Additionally, Caitlin Burch received the Outstanding Community Service Involvement Award, celebrating her passion for giving back to her community. Caitlin has gone above and beyond in contributing to our national philanthropy, The Kindly Hears Initiative, and community outreach efforts.

Each of these honors reflects the commitment, initiative, and compassion of the sisters of Gamma Eta. We are incredibly proud of all that our chapter has accomplished and look forward to continuing this legacy of excellence.
