"A sister is a gift to the heart, a friend to the spirit, a golden thread to the meaning of life.” —Isadora James

We laugh together, cry together, study together, and above all, we have fun together! From Homecoming events to football games to Greek Week to so many others, we share both joy and sorrow, good times and bad, thick and thin; our sisters are always there for each other! Below are only a few of the events that we look forward to during the school year.

Big/Little Reveal!

Within our chapter of Gamma Eta, we prioritize connections among sisters. One unique thing that we do for new members during their first month in Alpha Xi is set up Bear-Buddy dates, so that current sisters have a chance to get to know all of the new additions to our chapter! Current sisters will take new members out for coffee at Dancing Goats, ice cream at Jeni’s, a pottery session at Paper & Clay in the Student Center, or even dinner at Ponce City Market! These dates give sisters a chance to get to know each other and build up the excitement for Big-Little Reveal at the end of the month.

Game Days!

Alpha Xi Delta loves the Yellow Jackets! Many of our sisters can be spotted together, taking pictures, and repping both Alpha Xi’s and Georgia Tech’s colors: the double blue and gold!

We love to dress up, tailgate, sing the fight song, and, of course, cheer on our team!

#UpWithTheWhiteAndGold and, as always, #THWg!

Homecoming & Greek Week!

Homecoming and Greek Week are some of our favorite campus wide events that occur during the school year. Whether it is the Mini 500, Tug, Greek Sing, or the donut eating contest, our sisters dive in head first to embrace our school's traditions and show off our talents. Last spring, we placed first in many events for Greek Week and got third place overall!

Exploring Atlanta!

One of the great things about living in a city is taking advantage of all it has to offer! There is always an opportunity to do something new with your sisters, such as go to Ponce City Market, Piedmont Park, the Georgia Aquarium, World of Coca-Cola, the High Museum of Art, Six Flags Atlanta, and any of the great restaurants Atlanta has to offer.

Whether it be getting brunch, looking for coffee shops, going to music festivals, or enjoying the fresh outdoors, our sisters always make the most of our city!
