Dear Big,

Coming from out of state to a completely new place was so scary at first, but immediately from talking to you on the first day of rush I felt so at home with you. As soon as I joined Alpha Xi, you never stopped being welcoming to me and there for me from then on. You’ve been my best friend since our first big little date, and we’ve had so many amazing memories together that include endless amounts of laughs. I know that I can always count on you to cheer me up, cure my boredom, and laugh at my stupid jokes. You’ve never failed to always be there for me especially when I need a big sister. I genuinely cherish all the time we spend hanging out together, from house meals to game days to all of our shenanigans. Now that you’re in my life I had no clue what I did without you for 18 years. I’m so lucky to call you my big because you inspire me every day and I’m so grateful to see you as a true big sister who will be by my side for the rest of my life, and thankfully right down the road for the next few years!!

Dear Sierra,

I’m so grateful to know you. College became so much more fun once you got here. The first time we hung out, I instantly knew you were going to be my little. From spending every weekend together to being asked multiple times if we’re related, it’s hard to believe that we’ve only known each other for a year. 

I love the mindset and humor you bring to every situation and how effortless it was for us to become so close. There isn’t a single situation I’ve been in since knowing you where I haven’t known I’d be having more fun if you were there. I can’t wait to expand our fam and see how the rest of our college experience plays out.

You’re so smart and balance every aspect of your life so well. I can’t wait to see all that you’re going to do!
